Kirk MacDonald
President, MediaCentral
Kirk is a veteran media executive who brings a strong fundamental understanding of publishing, technology and sales to Media Central. In 2010 Kirk co-founded Adtaxi while serving as EVP of Digital First Media. Kirk grew Adtaxi to sales of over US$100 million across 6 countries and 166 cities in its first five years as its President. Kirk’s previous C-Suite and executive positions included: CEO of the Denver Newspaper Agency (publisher of The Denver Post & Rocky Mountain News) from 1999-2006; EVP Digital Sales & Marketing, Digital First Media from 2009-2013; CRO/Senior Consultant at the Toronto Star 2015-2016.
Carmelo Marrelli
Mr. Marrelli is the principal of The Marrelli Group of Companies. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA, CGA) and a member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators, a professional body that certifies corporate secretaries. He has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Toronto. Mr. Marrelli acts as the chief financial officer to a number of issuers on the TSX, TSX Venture Exchange, and CSE, as well as non-listed companies, and as a director of select issuers.
Courtney Dale
VP, Product & Partnerships
Courtney has over 11 years of experience in marketing, business development, and digital product development. Working agency-side, she has developed marketing strategies and directed campaigns for over 50+ brands such as Tesla, Royal LePage, Kijiji, and Ebay. Brand-side, she has designed and grown new revenue streams through digital product development, packaging, sales training, project management, and partnerships. At Media Central, including NOW Magazine, the Georgia Straight, and, Courtney leads advertiser solutions across all publications. She is also leading technical teams in the development of new digital products such as Creator News, a news aggregation software dedicated to optimizing the curation of international arts, culture, and lifestyle content.
