Kirk MacDonald
President, MediaCentral Holdings
Kirk is a veteran media executive who brings a strong fundamental understanding of publishing, technology and sales to Media Central. In 2010 Kirk co-founded Adtaxi while serving as EVP of Digital First Media. Kirk grew Adtaxi to sales of over US$100 million across 6 countries and 166 cities in its first five years as its President. Kirk’s previous C-Suite and executive positions included: CEO of the Denver Newspaper Agency (publisher of The Denver Post & Rocky Mountain News) from 1999-2006; EVP Digital Sales & Marketing, Digital First Media from 2009-2013; CRO/Senior Consultant at the Toronto Star 2015-2016.
Carmelo Marrelli
CFO
Mr. Marrelli is the principal of The Marrelli Group of Companies. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA, CGA) and a member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators, a professional body that certifies corporate secretaries. He has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Toronto. Mr. Marrelli acts as the chief financial officer to a number of issuers on the TSX, TSX Venture Exchange, and CSE, as well as non-listed companies, and as a director of select issuers.
Marcus Vanmanson
VP Operations, MediaCentral Holdings
Marcus Vanmanson, VP Operations MediaCentral Holdings Marucs has 15 plus years as a senior manager in a variety of industries, including manufacturing and spirits at Brose Automation, Schindler Elevators and most recently as the VP of Global Operations at Coors. At Media Central Holdings, including NOW Magazine, the Georgia Straight, CannCentral.com and eCentralSports.com, Marcus leads company-wide efforts to improve cost efficiency, software enablement among employees and the company's Demand Side Programmatic (DSP) business leveraging data to match optimal digital consumers with advertiser customers. He also works in an administrative role in finance and analysis. He earned a Masters degree from Western University School of business in London, ON.
